Tenant

At Choice Lettings we manage many of the properties we let on behalf of landlords – you can expect to move into a well maintained and well managed property. There are a number of documents which we will require in order for us to successfully complete a lease on your behalf.

References

  • A (written) reference from your current employer.
  • A (written) reference from a previous landlord (if applicable) .
  • Bank Reference or bank statement showing your presnt address and account no.
  • Photo I.D. we can take a copy of Passport / Driving License.
  • PPS Number.
  • Confirmation from an accountant if self employed.
  • Photocopy of standing order set up for payment of rent .

Monies Required

  • Security deposit (equivalent to one months rent)
  • First months rent (paid by cash or bankers draft)

Insurance

Tenants need to have separate insurance to cover all their possessions. This is especially important if you have expensive items such as computers, cameras etc. as these will never be covered by the landlord. Please do not hesitate to ask us if you need any advice in this area.

Fees

We do not charge Tenants a fee for our services.
